Welcome to YEA

Julie Nessen

How can we capture for you the essence of the Young Entrepreneurs Alliance (YEA)?

We could ask you to look at YEA's mission and core beliefs and our basic commitment to "help teens help themselves" by developing their talents and enabling them to discover their own potential.

We could describe YEA's history - our informal origins in one man's effort to help adjudicated teens "learn about business" and our emergence into a hands-on alliance with schools serving teens at risk.

We could talk about YEA's curriculum and our unique focus on teens owning and running a business. We could explain how we are bottling our "success formula" in our new Stairway to Success program and how we plan to replicate across the United States, building YEA's future.

This YEA Profile section does all of those things, starting with a profile: YEA-At-a-Glance.

I invite you to take a deeper look at YEA - our students, our teachers, our teen businesses, and the "buzz" our model has created in the media and among YEA supporters. It's all here.

Then ask yourself: how can I support YEA teens striving to make a better life for themselves?

The bottom line: I invite you to make YEA teens your business! We would welcome your partnership.
