Breighana Sahagian

Breighana grew up in Marlborough with her mother and younger sister and attended Assabet Valley High School, where she studied graphic design and digital media. A natural leader, Breighana was actively involved in the Principal's Leadership program and also managed the basketball team.

During her two years as a YEA business owner of Digitize, Breighana was elected to the position of Chief Executive Officer. In that role she was responsible for working with clients, monitoring the progress of all projects, running all client and staff meetings, and supervising the overall operation of the business. Among the work Breighana supervised was one significant project for New Balance and a brochure design for National Grid (formerly KeySpan).

When Breighana talks about YEA, she focuses on the important leadership skills she learned and how running Digitize cultivated a strong work ethic. In her own words, "My experience at YEA changed my life in that I became more confident in myself and what I have to offer far beyond my technical skills. I learned that I could reach above and beyond the limits of what I could see, and achieve my goals."

Today, Breighana is a manager at BJ's Wholesale Club and will start college in the fall.
